It took me a good six months of searching to find the diaper bag I have now. When Nash was first born I had just a normal shoulder diaper bag. I would find myself getting frustrated because every time I would try to put Nash in the car/take him out the dang thing would fall off my shoulder. I'm also a little over-aware and always holding on to my bag so no one takes it off my shoulder and I would never have a free hand so that was a little annoying.
I came across Fawn Design on Instagram. A friend had actually recommended the brand to me but I just hadn't gone through with the purchase yet. A few weeks later I went to the site and they were sold out. I was totally bummed. BUT right around Christmas time they restocked AND went on sale PLUS free shipping so it was worth the wait of course! They are a little pricey but if you check every now and then they run discounts and actually do quite a few giveaways on Instagram.
One reason why I love this bag is because it's a backpack and a shoulder bag. 99% of the time I use it as a backpack. I can carry Nash and hold my Starbucks while walking through Target :P No but really, it is so helpful to have two available hands and know that your bag is secure on your back. The second reason is because it's gender neutral. Dan has no problem carrying the diaper bag. He actually really likes to carry it haha. And my third (but definitely not final, I could go on for awhile more) I can fit so much in it! I've taken this bag to Disney World and fit everything Nash needs plus my things in it and we are set for the whole day. No carrying multiple bags/purses etc.
If you have a Fawn Design, what is your favorite thing about it? Let me know if you guys have any questions!
